In 2019, around midwinter, a girl walked into the class room. Her eyes show sadness, but she had a smile masking her sadness. She was new to the school. She looked looked around.
"Hello. My name is Rin. I'm 15 years old. I moved here from Japan. I lived in Canada, France, Italy, and Russia" She said softly but loud enough for the class to hear her. She smiles again and takes her seat. Everyone is talking about the different places she said. She looks down at her desk and takes out a piece of blank drawing paper and starts to draw outlines of mountains, of different looks and shapes.
She started to add texture to the picture she was drawing and smiled at what she did so far. She was a good artist on somethings, but mountains she failed on. She could never get them right. She sighed and looked at the teacher. She started to pay attention when someone next to her tapped her side.
"Pssst" The person kept saying over and over until she looked at them. It was a guy with short black hair and calm red eyes. He handed her a note. She opened the note and it read; 'Welcome miss Rin. My name is Ryo. I too lived in Russia and Japan. Would you like me to show you the city after school?' she said over the note then wrote back 'sorry. I have to go home too unpack and then go to violin practice~ Sorry~!' She handed the boy the note. He read it then handed her a note that read 'it's okay. Have fun at Violin practice though' Once she read it she couldn't help, but to smile.
After school she headed straight home and started to unpack. Her father, being her only parent alive, was at work. She went to the shrine for her mom and said "Hi mom. I had a wonderful day at my new school. I wish you where still here. I miss you." A tear fell down her cheek, but she whipped it off. It soon became 4 and she headed to her violin teacher's house. She knocked on the door and waited for a girl in her mid 20's to open the door.
"My name is Rin and I'm new to the town. I'm here for my violin practice." the lady opened the door wider and let her in. Rin looked around the house.
"Rin have a seat and let's see what you already know" the lady offered her to sit with kindness. Rin took out her violin and started to play a song called Irish fiddle, one part of the duet. She played it perfectly.
